The residential program's mission is reflected in its ongoing goals:

1. To provide residential services to youth that are currently not in a stable living environment and/or wards of the state of Georgia and/or have recently been released from a juvenile justice center, or referred from the state youth services.

2. To provide screening, assessment, placement and encouragement to all the youth that apply for services.

3. To provide services treatment for drug and alcohol abuse from direct use to co-dependency and/or counseling for children of alcohol/drug abusers.

4. To provide services and consultation to the public and private sectors on the treatment of emotional and behavioral challenges that youth and families face.

5. To provide intensive behavioral and psychological therapies to improve direction for the future and improve self esteem.

6. To provide advice, consultation and counseling to the families and guardians of the youth in the program as well as to the general public.

7. To maintain and organizational structure that will efficiently support the goals of the program.

8. To maintain a program evaluation system that supports the corporation and program goals as well as complies with appropriate licensing and accreditation standards.

The residential program is not designed to accept private or out-of-state placements.
