Out of Harm's Way, INC's mission is to improve the quality of the lives of
"at-risk" female youth and their families by providing them with the essential skills necessary for making informed choices.

By structured intervention, the possibility of future aberrant behavior, such as gang related activity, involvement with drugs, early sexual activity, and risk of incarceration.

We provide services to all individuals regardless of race, creed, color, national origin, sexual preference, or criminal history.


Mission Goals includes housing, counseling, intervention and prevention services to female children and adolescents whose lives have become unmanageable as the result of behaviors associated with mental disorders, behavioral disorders as well as impulsive, compulsive, and self-destructive behaviors.

The program provides services to eligible female youth who reside in an institutional placement which are referred from governmental agencies designed to assist the youth and families. Example institutions are DFACS and DJJ.
The goal of treatment is to assist youth with daily living skills and provide a program that enhances their quality of life. Our program attempts to terminate repetitive, negative thought patterns and behaviors, gain an awareness of other options, and accept and maintain new and improved way of life.

Out of Harms Way, INC. has been duly incorporated under the laws of the State of Georgia on the effective date of 02/25/2003. We are filed with the Secretary of State and by Title 14 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated.
We serve all family members, workers, guardians, and significant others that have a direct bearing on the youth.
